Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Home Field Big Screen, provided by The Farmens ("we," "us"). By connecting Big Screen to your Ring account or pairing a TV, you agree to them.

What Big Screen does

Big Screen shows live view of the Ring cameras and video doorbells you share with it on a television you pair. You can see your cameras in a grid and open any camera full screen with audio. Live video travels directly from Ring to your TV and is not recorded or stored by us. Big Screen does not play back Ring recordings.

What you need

• A Ring account with US-based Ring cameras or video doorbells, and any Ring plan that Ring requires for Ring Appstore apps.
• A supported TV device: Apple TV running tvOS 17 or later, or an Amazon Fire TV running Fire OS 6 or later.
• A broadband internet connection, and a phone or computer to sign in and pair your TV.
• You must own or be authorized to use the Ring devices and televisions you connect.

Live view limits

Big Screen depends on Ring's live-streaming service. Ring limits each live session to about 60 seconds. Big Screen renews sessions automatically, and the picture may pause briefly during renewal. A camera that is offline, asleep, or low on battery may not start. Live viewing uses battery on battery-powered cameras.

Subscriptions and billing

Big Screen is a paid subscription billed through the Ring Appstore. Pricing and any free trial are shown at sign-up. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through Ring, and access continues until the end of the current billing period. When the subscription ends, Big Screen stops showing live view on your paired TVs.

Your content

Your camera video is yours. We claim no ownership of it and use your data only to deliver the service you asked for.

Acceptable use

Use Big Screen only for lawful purposes, and only with cameras, accounts, and televisions you are authorized to use. Follow the laws that apply to video and audio monitoring where you live. Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.

Availability

We depend on Ring's and Apple's services, which can change or have outages. Big Screen is provided "as is," without warranties, and we cannot guarantee that live view is available at every moment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Big Screen is a viewing convenience. It is not a security or professional monitoring service, does not record video, and does not contact emergency services.

Termination

You can stop using Big Screen at any time by revoking your TVs or disconnecting Big Screen in the Ring app. We may suspend or end the service for violations of these terms. On disconnection we delete your data as described in the Big Screen Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and notify you of material changes.
