Text Message Opt-In
This page documents how Home Field (homefield.tv) collects consent before sending any text messages. Text alerts are strictly opt-in and are configured by the user inside the Home Field web app at app.homefield.tv → Settings → Text alerts.
The consent form
The form below is the exact point of consent shown in the app. No text messages are sent unless the user checks the consent box, enters their mobile number, and confirms ownership of that number by entering a 6-digit verification code we text to it.
Text alerts
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can turn text alerts off at any time in Settings or by replying STOP.
How opt-in works, step by step
- The user signs in to their Home Field account at app.homefield.tv (passwordless email sign-in).
- In Settings → Text alerts, the user checks the consent box shown above and enters their mobile number.
- We text a one-time 6-digit verification code to that number; the user must enter it in the app to complete opt-in (double opt-in).
- Only after verification do alert messages begin. Every message footprint honors STOP/HELP, and alerts can also be disabled in Settings at any time.
What we send
- Security and wildlife detection alerts from the user's own cameras (e.g., "Coyote detected on your Front Yard camera"), with a link to view the recorded clip on homefield.tv.
- Sign-in verification codes.
No marketing or promotional messages are sent. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes — see our Privacy Policy.
